June - November

This is the beginning of the wet season, though in June the heaviest rains have not yet set in. Temperatures increase slightly, and may feel hotter due to the high humidity. 24-29 June is carnival time in Camagüey, a long standing tradition with decorated floats, flamboyant costumes and local musicians playing conga rhythms. Hurricanes and tropical storms are possible between Aug and Nov.
